The Clone’s birthday just passed. We celebrated it by going the the N.C. State Fair, just the two of us. It was a girls’ date, just mom and the clone, no dad, no sisters tagging along. We had a great time!

My girls love having these alone time with mom or dad. It’s hard to juggle sometimes, but when we can, we try to give them their own personal time. This was a great opportunity because this girl loves the State Fair and I think her sisters have outgrown the ritual. So it was a perfect bonding time for us. I took the day off from work, she from school, and off we went to the fair.
