This little girl will be on the road soon. She just finished with her Driver’s Ed class and is now eligible to apply for a learner’s permit. Time sure has flown. I still can’t believe it… My wallet can’t afford the car insurance!
I’ve only let her practice on our car a couple of times before she took the class, and those practice drives were in a parking lot. So she pretty much went into her driver’s ed class cold. No driving experience other than watching mom and dad drive.
On her first day driving, she almost hit my husband while they were both trying to get out of the school parking lot. LOL! She said it’s a good thing her instructor had brakes on his side of the car, ’cause he sure used it a lot while she was driving. She said up until the last day of class, she was still feeling nervous and kept making mistakes so I guess we better go get her permit so she can practice some more.

Our son got his permit Feb. 8. Sometimes it’s nice having him driving. Most of the time it’s a test of my nerves. good luck!
Is that Assi (Asi)? OMG and in a few years both your Jade and my Isha will be out in the streets driving too…oh how time flies.
hi joan! thanks, I haven’t driven with her on the road yet, but I’m already getting my nerves ready.
hi girlie, yep, that was Asi when she was just a few weeks old. Seems like only yesterday and look she’ll be driving soon. Their 10 year old sister is almost giddy she’ll get to ride with her sisters driving. Jade can’t wait until her turn. She wanted to take drivers ed this semester but I told her to wait until the fall semester. My nerves can only take so much
another milestone for both you and your little girl!
malakas ang loob, mana ke nanay!
i wonder how much is it to install another brake pedal sa passenger seat? hehe.
Wow…. time does fly so fast, doesn’t it?
Hoohooohooo!!! She’s growing up, waaahhhhh………. ;(
I miss my little inky-dink…and in the blink of an eye, it’ll be my turn. Sigh.
