So has my head stuck up in the clouds or farther down below or something? A couple of days ago, I received a couple of e-cards and I’m thinking to myself, “now who sends St. Patrick’s Day cards?” Especially since Irish blood doesn’t really flow through any branch of my family My mother did start the tradition of eating corned beef on St. Paddy’s Day though, but that’s beside the point. Anyway, getting back to those e-cards, it turns out they were Easter greetings! You’d think I would have gotten the clue, ya? But no, I thought to myself, “oh how nice, they sent them out early.”

Then yesterday, I got another e-greeting card! I’m like, wow, these guys are really organized and early this year! Clueless, I know!

The gods must have finally taken mercy on my clueless soul yesterday and they or something made me look at the calendar. I think I was actually trying to figure out when the next payday is, but you know. I happen to look and lo and behold, this Sunday is Easter!! Holy crap!

Now I wish I had stayed clueless a little longer. At least I wouldn’t be scrambling to get Easter treats for the girls and get a decent dinner other than leftovers planned for Sunday
