We just celebrated our 20th last June. Many years prior to our 20th, I kept giving him a nudge to let him know I wanted a diamond ring. Well, kids kept telling me it will take forever. You know, "diamonds are forever" -:).

Anyhow, he was prepared to buy me one this year but I suddenly realized that our kids' education was much more important than my diamond ring. It's been put on the back burner again until our 25th. Perhaps.

We've been so used spending important occasions with the 2 little rugrats (oh well, they've gotten bigger really) that I am starting to dread they will one day be on their own. They're geeting there.
