It’s almost end of the school year again. Can you believe it? My daughter Asi told me yesterday that she and her boyfriend decided to attend the junior/senior prom at their school and we have just this weekend to shop for a dress! Yeah, thanks for the short notice, my daughter :) Luckily, she doesn’t seem to be as concerned with the trappings of prom as I remember being when I was her age. She doesn’t want a fancy gown, she says she and her friends are going with a goth theme (eye roll *-*). I can’t wait to see what kind of gown she decides on.

If I have another camera by then, I’ll take photos to share here. Oh, yes, my three year old Kodak point and shoot finally died on me after the fishing trip last weekend. So…. buy a prom dress…. OR buy a new camera? Hmmm…. daughter…. or blogging? LOL! I’m just kidding. All I can do is laugh because my laptop also caught a virus the same day the camera broke and now I have to reformat it. Before I do that, I need to try and salvage as much data as I can. Just the thought of doing the reformat makes me want to cry and stomp my feet and have a total hissy fit but, I’ll try and laugh it off instead.

Here are some of the last photos taken from my dead camera of our fishing trip last weekend. Enjoy!

  1. You are very lucky to have a daughter who doesn’t “expect” you to spend a lot of money on her prom.

Your fishing trip looks lovely. Although I’m not much of an outdoor person that looks like a lot of fun!
