Here in DFW we got almost an inch, which is practically buried, in my opinion - I can't even imagine what the place would look like if we got a whole foot. (Earlier this winter we got <i>two</i> inches and the roads were like a madhouse.) I know what you mean about snacking when you're snowed in, too - I always end up eating more, especially if I have all the ingredients for something big and warm like a pan of lasagna or a pot roast.
