I love being brown I have a tan all year round without even trying and my daughters are the same way. I recently had a chance to try out Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock and wrote a short review about our experience with it.

Our Ultra Sheer Summer so Far

About a month ago I received Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock to try out. It was quite timely as the summer had just started and I knew my girls and I would be spending plenty of time outdoors.

Now my girls and I are naturally brown skinned and we get browner faster the longer we stay in the sun. I’ve heard people say that dark skinned people don’t get sun burned. Don’t believe that. Believe me, we do. We still have containers of aloe vera gel from last summer to prove it. So this year, especially that my girls are now teens and are starting to care more about their appearance, we were more than glad to put this Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock to the test. I, especially, was eager to test this product because I tend to burn on my nose whenever we stay out too long. I need to start wearing hats or find a really good sunblock. And since I look goofy in a hat and keep losing them, I really need a good sunblock!

Well, long story short, I have been using Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock since the weather got hot and I am quite happy with it and would gladly purchase more. Why? For the first time in at least a couple of years, my nose is not peeling this summer. I don’t have raccoon eyes yet from my shades. My face is tanned all over.

I also like it that this Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock is not dense or strong smelling. You know what I’m talking about. Other sunblock products feel like you’ve just put on a mask; some of them make you look like it too. This one is light enough that I have been wearing it under my moisturizer and have been applying it daily. It doesn’t make me smell like I just came out of the pool like other products either.

My daughter who plays field hockey and is out on the field practicing almost daily likes it too. It doesn’t clog her pores she says, and even though she uses it daily, it washes off quite easily at the end of the day without leaving a lot of residue.

So I guess we’ve found our sunsblock of choice this summer and we’re sticking with it.
