I made another facebook inspired recipe last night which was just the perfect thing to usher in the fall season and kick off the all-things-pumpkin extravaganza.
The Not So Desperate Housewife posted this Pumpkin Crisp recipe and it looked so good, I just had to try it. Besides, I already had all the ingredients on hand so it was easy to put together. And was it ever easy! It was a matter of opening cans and packages and dumping them in a dish. It kind of reminded me of my sister-in-law’s cherry dump cake.

If you like pumpkin pie, you will love Pumpkin Crisp. I never make pumpkin pie anymore, this is better and easier.
